Bramley 400kV substation is a 16 bay AIS double busbar substation.
The scheme was to remove the existing 400kV RCP disconnector and adjacent CT and replace with a new Disconnecting Circuit Breaker (DCB), CT and Earth Switch.
New civil foundations and structures, HV busbar connections and connector modifications and multicore cabling. The upgrade was necessary which provided improved running arrangements for National Grid.
